Webelos Woods is district-organized event that culminates in a weekend of fun outdoor activities with the intent of providing opportunities for advancement and to aid with the Webelos-to-Scout transition. Webelos and their adult partner will get an interactive preview of the Scouting program through a series of fun-filled activities accentuating the scouting experience.
Share meals and a campfire to learn how your scout will camp when crosses over to Scouts. Learn about the Patrol Method while enjoying the comforts of Camp Trevor Rees-Jones, with electricity in the campsites and amenities better than some State Parks.
Register on-line here. Early Bird price of $10.00 has been extended and will be valid until the event starts. If a Den wishes to participate on Saturday only, they should plan to arrive by 8:30 a.m. and must register ahead of time, to be included in the rotation of Venues. Fees will be collected upon arrival at the Camp Office. After registration is completed, camp sites will be assigned. Cub Leaders may check the Leaders Guide for further information regarding camping and frequently ask Questions which is coming soon.
Boy Scout Troops wanting to send a Contingent to Staff Webelos Woods need to register on-line here (Note each individual must register so we have an accurate staff roster.)
The cost for Staffing is $10.00 Camp Fee and $10.00 for Staff food. Please note that all Troops Staffing this event MUST have a representative present at the next Staff Training on September 26, (change in date), same room, same time: at FUMC, Richardson.
