Northern Trail 2019 Twilight Camp

Join us for a week of fun as we explore the world of adventures.  Twilight Camp is the perfect way to start your summer time fun.  Earn Cub Scout achievements, have tons of fun with your den, and meet new Scouting friends!

This is a Twilight Camp" which means that all activities occur between 4:00PM and 8:30PM. No need to take a full day of vacation. Most can adjust their work schedule to accommodate the activity.

Camp will be held at Breckinridge Park, in North East Richardson.  Map

Important changes for Twilight Camp this year.

  1. Registration is using a new system. Users will need to set up a new account.
  2. Reservations are not saved unless a payment of some amount is made (suggestion $5.00)
  3. Early registration fee cut-off is April 30. We know that many units rely on camp card proceeds to pay for camp. At the present time, unless payment in full is made by that date, the late registration fee will apply.

What to Bring to Camp

Here is a list of things to bring to camp.

Youth Protection Training

All adult staff and Walking Den Leaders must have YPT training. There have been some recent changes.  You must have the revised on-line YPT card.   

Before you start, here are some tips which will make the process a little easier. Go go log-in and take the course. It may be necessary to create a user ID and password if you don't already have one.  

BSA requires a 2 deep adult leadership at ratio of 1 adult per 5 scouts. Training is valid for two years.   If you are present at camp more than one session during the week you must have this training.  The registrar will need a copy of your Face to Face card or the new YPT training certificate.  You can bring this to Walking Den Leader Training or make other arrangements to get it to the registrar.

Tigers must have a parent or guardian registered as a Walking Den Leader.

Medical Forms parts A & B

Everyone who attends camp both  Adult and Scout needs to submit a medical form.  A fillable form may be found here
Complete and drop them off in the box by the front door at 1512 Summertree Ct., Richardson, TX.

Adult In Camp State Compliance Form 

Every walking den leader and  adult staff member must complete this form and turn it in to the registrar.  You can bring this to Walking Den Leader Training or make other arrangements to get it to the registrar.

All staff must register using the link above for participants.  

Junior Staff Members

Twilight Camp can use the help of all volunteers who have completed the fifth grade and are willing to help staff. Service hours will be recorded and can be used for scout advancement or school.

All staff who are 14 or older must fill out the Adult In State Compliance Form and have either the online YPT (taken on or after March 13, 2018). If you have questions, please contact the camp director or registrar. Junior helpers under 14 only need the medical Form.
